Robert Plant and Alison Krauss met at a tribute concert to Leadbelly.
The two decided to collaborate, and recorded an album called Raising Sand. Recorded in Nashville, and produced by T-Bone Burnett, features the legendary singers doing lesser-known material from various folk, country and blues songwriters including he Everly Brothers, Townes Van Zandt, Gene Clark, Tom Waits, Doc Watson, Little Milton Campbell and Mel Tillis.
