Shelley Short is an American folk singer and songwriter who grew up in Portland, Oregon.
After recording Oh Say Little Dogies, Why? (Keep Recordings, 2003) in the desert of New Mexico and the industrial area of Portland, Oregon, Short left art school in the Pacific Northwest and headed eastward to Chicago.
