September 10, 11, and 12, 2010, Double B Rodeo & Country Fair
This year, the 17th Annual Double B Rodeo & Country Fair will be held on September 10, 11, and 12, 2010 at the CPTC Raceplex in Beausejour. Festivities include: Ranch Rodeo and Midway, Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Chore Team, Old Time Thrashing Demo, MRCA/CCA Rodeo including Thoroughbred Chariot Racing and mutton busting for the kids, Fireworks, Barn Dance, Midway starts, Pony Rides, 4-H Beef Club, Agricultural Displays, Antique Tractor Display, Poultry and Waterfowl Displays, and the Saloon.

As a Host for Town Radio Beausejour, you are the primary community group or event promoted for the duration of a single broadcast licence, which can be up to 4 weeks long. You are essentially the home for the station for that period. Although a commercial business may be sponsor, the primary community group or event promoted must be not-for-profit or charitable in nature.
Standard Host Agreement
As Host, you provide:
- A location to set up a studio to originate the broadcast for the duration of the licence, typically 3 weeks,
- Electricity to power the studio,
- Information to write and produce a special Host message that explains your special event or organization. This message will typically be 1 minute in length and will air at the top of each broadcast hour for the duration of a the broadcast licence period.
We provide:
- All equipment and staff needed to produce a 24/7 broadcast for the duration of the licence period,
- Production to air of radio content, primarily music, for the bulk of the radio broadcast,
- Production of a Host message approximately 1 minute in length to air hourly.
That about covers the minimum requirements for a host arrangement with Town Radio Beausejour. If you want more, we can do more.
Additional services might include producing interviews discussing your event or organization, or live coverage during an event.
Booking your Host slot is at the discretion of Town Radio Beausejour, and is subject to availability and regulatory requirements. The typical duration for a single broadcast licence period is about 3 weeks, with the legal maximum being 28 days. Booking well in advance is advised to allow time for government applications to be processed.
