Led Zeppelin were an English rock band formed in London in 1968. The group consisted of Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page on guitar, John Paul Jones on bass and keyboards, and John Bonham on drums. Known for a heavy, guitar-based sound that drew from blues and folk traditions, they are widely regarded as a major influence on the development of hard rock and heavy metal.
